  NECESSARY SO THAT THEY ARE SMOOTH, NON ABSORBENT AND EASILY CLEANABLE. MAINTAIN ALL EQUIPMENT
  IN GOOD REPAIR AND PROPER ADJUSTMENT.
   
  3717-1-04.4 Equipment, Utensils, and Linens: Maintenance and Operation

  (A)      Equipment - good repair and proper adjustment.
   
        (1) Equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under
       rule 3717-1-04 of the Administrative Code and rule 3717-1-04.1 of the Administrative Code.
   
        (2) Equipment components such as doors, seals, hinges, fasteners, and kick plates shall be kept intact, tight, and
       adjusted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.

  OBSERVED LEAKY FAUCET AT HANDWASH SINK IN THE KITCHEN. THE ISSUE WAS DISCUSSED WITH THE PERSON
  IN CHARGE AND WILL BE CORRECTED. MAINTAIN ALL PLUMBING IN GOOD REPAIR.
   
  3717-1-05.1 Water, Plumbing, and Waste:  Plumbing System
   
  (S)      Plumbing system - maintained in good repair.
   
       A plumbing system shall be:
   
       (1)      Repaired according to the Ohio  building code; and
   
       (2)      Maintained in good repair.

  OBSERVED DUMPSTERS WITH LIDS OPEN. THE DUMPSTERS WERE NOT IN USE AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.
  KEEP DUMPSTER LIDS CLOSED WHEN DUMPSTER IS NOT IN USE TO PREVENT ACCESS TO BIRDS, RODENTS,
  INSECTS AND OTHER PESTS.
   
  3717-1-05.4 Water, Plumbing, and Waste: Refuse, Recyclables, and Returnables
   
  (N)      Covering receptacles.
   
       Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, or returnables shall be kept covered:
   
       (2)      With tight-fitting lids or doors if kept outside the food service operation or retail food establishment.

  OBSERVED BARE UNSEALED WOOD TRIM IN THE KITCHEN AND AROUND BOTTOM STEP IN KITCHEN. PAINT OR
  SEAL ALL BARE WOOD WITH A POLYURETHANE SEALANT SO THAT IT IS SMOOTH, NON ABSORBENT AND EASILY
  CLEANABLE. THE ISSUE WAS DISCUSSED WITH THE PERSON IN CHARGE. HE SAID THAT THEY ARE PAINTING
  TONIGHT AND HE WILL HAVE THE ISSUE CORRECTED AT THAT TIME.
   
  3717-1-06 Physical Facilities:  Materials for Construction and Repair
   
  (A)      Indoor areas - surface characteristics
   
        (1) Except as specified in paragraph (A)(2) of this rule, materials for indoor floor, wall, and ceiling surfaces
       under conditions of normal use shall be:
   
             (a) Smooth, durable, and easily cleanable for areas where food service operation or retail food establishment
            activities are conducted;
   
            (b)      Closely woven and easily cleanable carpet for carpeted areas; and
   
             (c) Nonabsorbent for areas subject to moisture such as food preparation areas, walk-in refrigerators,
            warewashing areas, toilet rooms, mobile food service operation or mobile retail food establishment servicing areas,
            and areas subject to flushing or spray cleaning methods.

  REACH IN COOLER @ 37°F AND WALK IN COOLERS @ 39°F AND 41°F. NO TCS FOODS WERE STORED IN THE
  WALK IN COOLERS.
   
  TEMPERATURE MEASURING DEVICES WERE PROVIDED.
   
  HOT WATER, HAND SOAP AND PAPER TOWELS WERE PROVIDED AT HANDWASH SINKS.
